The company generates sales of 83 million euros in France and abroad, and has a strong corporate culture based on the three fundamentals of commitment, sharing and ambition.
Zoomalia is also 12 exclusive brands, over a million families won over, 300 employees and a presence in 7 European countries. Through its products and advice, Zoomalia fosters the human-animal relationship, bringing a little more happiness into the home every day.

Our history
In 2009, our founder, Pierre-Adrien THOLLET, passionate about animals and new technologies, started from a simple observation: no existing pet shop really met his expectations.
In 2010, he created Zoomalia, an ergonomic website with a fun, friendly spirit, plenty of choice and prices accessible to all.
« My ambition: to become the brand of choice for people who truly love their pets ».
It was between 2011 and 2014 that our customers discovered and loved us. We go from :
- 8,000 to 30,000 specialized products to keep our little companions happy;
- 2 to 30 employees with a passion for the animal world;
- 20,000 to over 200,000 customers and pets made happy by Zoomalia.
From 2013 to date, we have created over 10 specialized brands to meet the specific needs of each animal
In 2015 and 2016, we set out to conquer the happiness of European animals: Opening of the Spanish site, followed by the German and English sites.
2016 also saw the opening of our first store in PAU (64).
We've embodied the Zoomalia spirit: a pleasant, fun store where the animal is at the heart of everything we do!
You're sure to appreciate the advice of our team of enthusiasts, who will be delighted to welcome you to a relaxation area 100% dedicated to the animal world.
Of course, we don't sell dogs or cats. Our large boxes are used by the SPA or breeders in our region to present or adopt our boarders.
In 2017, we are more than 50 employees and we distribute happiness to more than 500,000 pets and owners.
It's the year of another change, material this time: new premises to serve you better.

2018, a new year, new premises: Welcome to our home!
The Zoomalia team has come together for greater efficiency, and to (always) serve you better: over 3,000m² of storage, preparation areas and offices, with our colorful and welcoming touch!
We're expanding! Our new premises are (already) too small... We're expanding from 3,000 m² to 9,000 m² of storage space.
2020 was a challenging year for Zoomalia!
- The launch of the 1 order = 1 meal project to help animal protection shelters and associations by donating hundreds of thousands of meals.
- Installation of a new, fully automated order-picking line. The long-term aim is to double the number of shipments.
We do things big!
- Broadcast of our very first advertising spot, with the aim of making Zoomalia known to as many people as possible!
- Opening of a dozen new stores in the Great West!
- Expansion of our premises in St Geours de Maremne (40), bringing our storage capacity to 18,000 m²! Work will start in spring 2021.
- Completion of expansion work, increasing our storage capacity from 9,000m² to 18,000m² (on the ground, 21,000m² in total).
- Opening of some twenty stores in Western France.
- We have almost 300 employees!
- Opening of our 36th store in Bressuire (79).
- Zoomalia ranks 11th in the wholesale and retail category, and 111th among the most innovative companies in the "Leaders in Innovation 2023" ranking produced by Les Echos and Statista.
