Dog bowls, stands, dispensers and automatic feeders

First, you need a container to feed your dog. Either you buy a bowl, or you opt for a kibble dispenser. The first option is also suitable for wet food while the second frees you from timing constraints. A bowl stand provides extra comfort for large dogs. A placemat contributes to the hygiene of their feeding area.

For drinking, your pet should have a bowl with free access. It can be replaced by a fountain with a larger supply of fresh water. A water bottle is useful for outings and in hot weather. It's also wise to acquire a kibble container to preserve their nutritional quality and flavor.

The packaging of dog food makes its storage easier to manage. However, it's important to keep their food away from heat and humidity. These precautions aim to prevent mold or a decrease in nutritional value.

Closing the packaging also helps preserve the food from light and associated oxidation. But kibbles can quickly lose freshness with regular opening of the bag. We recommend pouring the kibbles into a sealed container to prolong their palatability.

When choosing dog feeding accessories, ensure the kibble container has a suitable capacity. If a reserve is necessary, especially with a large breed dog, it should be consumed within about 30 days. Avoid storing food stock next to their bowl. Prefer a cupboard or closed space so they aren't tempted to help themselves!

At meal times, pour their portion of kibbles into a dog bowl suitable for their daily quantity. You can also choose to store them in a dispenser that releases them at fixed times.

Your pet needs to eat in peace. For their tranquility, it's better to set up their bowls in a corner where there isn't much traffic. Kitchen tiles make it easier to clean up any spills.

Positioning the bowls on a dog placemat limits dirtiness and the risk of slipping on the floor. If your dog tends to spill their food, place their bowl slightly elevated on a dedicated stand. However, it's not recommended to place their bowls near your dining table to avoid any confusion or temptation...

Their water bowl should, however, remain accessible all day. It shouldn't be in a closed room. If you're concerned about the floor, opt for a water fountain on a silicone mat. But not all dog feeding accessories should be grouped in the same place: we advise against placing the kibble container right next to their bowl because your canine companion might tip it over to help themselves!
